Impresionanta rezerva de putere latenta pentru acest Audi A6 3,0TDI.
Singura interventie pentru potentarea performantelor acestei masini a fost implementarea unui soft Exelixis.
Fisele dyno infatiseaza graficul in cazul masinii stock, graficul dupa resoftare si o comparatie intre cele doua instante.

MOM reloaded!
In urma unor modificari de ordin mecanic si schimbarii sistemului de management electronic al motorului cu un standalone VEMS, numitul bobiMOM s-a prezentat pentru cuantificarea exacta a cifrelor actuale.
Si de aceasta data la ‘butoane’ s-a aflat Catalin WPP.
Chiar daca, probabil pentru foarte multa lume rezultatele de mai jos (grafic pentru high boost ~1,2bar si pentru low boost ~ 0,9 bar) sunt cel putin satisfacatoare, pentru WPP se pare ca nu au fost de ajuns, prin urmare bobiMOM a fost trimis sa isi corijeze mecanica urmand sa participe la sesiunea de admitere din toamna.

merita toate laudele ursu, pt ca are interior, geamuri normale, fete de usi.
nu apreciez masinile care sunt scobite, arata ca un aragaz si are 700+ cp. doar sa nu aibe nr de inmatriculare si sa fie strict pt drag.

Inca un exemplu de resoftare Exelixis pentru 3,0TDI de data aceasta pe un Volkswagen Touareg din 2011. De mentionat este faptul ca masina este echipata cu o cutie de viteze de ultima generatie cu 8 trepte ceea ce face lucrurile putin mai delicate in cazul resoftarii.
Graficul reprezinta o comparatie intre valorile de fabrica si cele obtinute dupa resoftare.

De regula nu ne place sa interferam cu proiectele dezvoltate de alte firme similare din Romania insa in cazul de fata am facut o exceptie.
Masina a ajuns la noi deoarece proprietarul acuza mai multe probleme de functionare :
- relanti instabil
- inconstanta in regim de croaziera
- turbolag excesiv in accelerare
- consum anormal de ulei (1L la 250km parcursi)
- consum excesiv de combustibil
Primul pas a fost o verificare a mecanicii masinii pentru a ne asigura ca nu exista hibe hardware ce influenteaza software-ul masinii generand problemele mai sus mentionate.
Odata aceasta etapa incheiata fara a gasi nici un fel de problema singura cauza a ramas software-ul custom instalat deja pe masina de catre firma ce a dezvoltat si executat acest proiect.

Deoarece politica noastra nu permite interventia asupra unor software-uri dezvoltate si implementate de catre alte firme din piata, singura posibilitate a fost rescrierea de la zero a softului, varianta agreata si de catre client.
Astfel, dupa 2 ore petrecute de catre partenerul nostru Okan Zamanoglu cu aceasta masina pe dyno-ul Exelixis lucrurile s-au schimbat radical. In conditiile folosirii aceluiasi boost atat puterea cat si cuplul indicau valori sensibil mai mari cum se poate observa din comparatia graficelor. Mai mult de atat, dupa un drum de aproximativ 300km proprietarul ne-a comunicat reducerea consumului de combustibil la valori normale cat si disparitia consumului de ulei.
Daca mai era necesar s-a dovedit inca odata ca un simplu software poate incununa cu success un proiect sau il poate transforma intr-o experienta neplacuta.

The Power of Dreams inseamna lucruri diferite pentru diferiti oameni, unii viseaza despre viitor altii aleg sa o faca despre trecut.
In cazul de fata “visul” venit din trecut se numeste Honda CRX si reprezinta viziunea lui Sorin asupra notiunii de masina de strada asa cum chiar el ne-a marturisit.
Avand in vedere ca gusturile nu se discuta (nu ca am fi avut ceva de comentat in cazul de fata) sa trecem direct la lucruri concrete. Masina este o Honda CRX (ED9) echipata cu un motor B16A2 ce a suferit urmatoarele modificari:
-vibrochen usurat Eagle
-biele I-beam forjate
-pistoane high-compression Wiseco
-chiulasa de B18C4
-supape si arcuri de supapa Skunk2
-axe cu came Skunk2
-volanta usurata
-galerie de admisie Skunk2 PRO
-cold air intake
-clapeta de acceleratie Skunk2
-galerie evacuare TEGIWA 4-2-1
-sistem de evacuare Skunk2
Evident toate ‘bunatatile’ de mai sus trebuie sa lucreze in armonie iar pentru acest aspect s-a apelat la HondataS300 si cunostintele de resoftare ale lui Okan Zamanoglu mapper-ul rezident al Exelixis Motorsport.
Surpriza placuta oferita de catre partea mecanica a fost raspunsul extrem de prompt si vioi al VTEC-ului impreuna cu aceste axe ceea ce a facut posibila obtinerea unui maxim de putere fara a compromite zona de ture joase in favoarea turelor inalte sau invers.
Multumim inca odata lui Sorin pentru ca a ales Exelixis Motorsport pentru finalizarea visului sau si il asteptam cu noi proiecte cel putin la fel de interesante.

Bine v-am regasit!
In cele ce urmeaza va prezentam probabil cea mai simpla configuratie de upgrade pentru un Nissan GTR-R35, ce ofera ca rezultate finale, valori de putere si cuplu consistent mai mari fata de cele de serie.
Modificarile hardware sunt urmatoarele:
-filtre aer panel ITG
-actuatoare turbine ForgeMotorsport
-downpipeuri custom pe 80mm fara catalizatoare + catback GTC Titan
-Dodson Motorsport gearlock
Si de aceasta data softul este unul custom realizat de catre Okan Zamanoglu.

Nu negam ca in domeniul nostru performanta primeaza iar cifrele reprezinta cel mai bun CV al oricarei masini sport, dar ………exista si exceptii.
O astfel de exceptie o reprezinta cu siguranta Aston Martin DBS , probabil una dintre cele mai frumoase creatii ale industriei auto.
Suntem siguri ca vor exista persoane care vor comenta, acuzand diferenta dintre cifrele oficiale si valorile inregistrate pe standul nostru dyno, insa suntem la fel de siguri ca aceleasi persoane si-ar uita motivul “supararii” daca ar avea ocazia sa interactioneze direct cu soseaua din spatele volanului DBS-ului.
Multumim prietenilor de la Black Falcon Cars pentru oportunitatea de a ne delecta privirea cat si urechile cu ceea ce inseamna Aston Martin DBS.
