Looking good m8 Try to move the radiator a little bit.. you can relocate the legs.. or make a custom one (wider)

nah, i don't care at all about that fan/shroud, eventually when i've done most everything and need something to buy/replace/make better i plan on buying a radiator that has like 75% more flow through, and i plan on replacing that MASSIVE ugly stock shroud with a slim fan

even if it melts a little i don't care i just dont want it melting a MASSIVE hole in it for now

waste of money for now, whenever i get a nice fancy downpipe made up proper then i'll insulate with heat wrap and sealing spray

BTW , from experience i can tell you that if you plan on running more than 10 PSI you will want a bigger radiator ... car will overheat in the scorching summer sun with that 1/2 thin one.
but at 5-6 psi you will be fine.

yeah i'm definately gonna change it eventually, and on this motor it will never go above 10psi

the other thing is that the current radiator that i have, hoses, water pump etc are all brand new, this car runs so cool in the dead of summer its ridiculous, so i'll be good for a while otherwise i'd change it sooner

it might, but i'll know right away because i'm going to have a AEM UEGO wideband o2 setup, i plan on getting it tuned if the AFR is off. thing is that these guys have been doing this for years and years and years so its not like its the first turbo'd d15b7 they've ever done, they probably have a base/map saved in their archives that is perfect for my setup, and tested already.

either way i'll know once its done, and there is a shop in town that has a dyno and should be able to tune it for me if its necessary.

first things first though, i'll worry about that when the time comes, for right now i want to get my bumper cut, and my intercooler polished and mounted so that i can hook up my pipes

Arrow Re: '94 U.S. Civic EG (D15B7)

small update - mic de actualizare

JUST INSTALLED!!! 35 EXTRA HORSEPOWER!!!

just kidding, that's my romanian friend valentins cat lol he's nuts and plays with squirrels

not a major update, just some aesthetics before putting all this stuff back together cause i dont want to do it later when i desire a cleaner bay, etc

cut/polished/painted:

test fit:

its not mirror finish polished like i'd like, but polishing is a TON of work, and i couldn't source all the right sandpapers, so i did this with only coarse/medium/fine steel wool and polish/Never Dull

it's good enough for me, not asking for perfection, and i'm getting REALLY impatient, plus pictures don't show it but it looks pretty good in person - so much so that my friends asked if i simply bought a new one lol

anyhow, like i said, i'm easily pleased and its like a 700 dollar Greddy intercooler i got for free. this took roughly 4-6 hours

and of course, MY FACE!!!

my dad asked for a face picture when i was doing all this cause he was at my grandparents house so i figured i'd throw this in there too lol

thanks, i drove the car the other day cause they were threatening to two it because my tag is expired, and it was the funnest thing i've done all year. there is no extra power yet, obviously, but just hearing the turbo and the open down pipe was incredible!!!

i'd have mounted the FMIC already but like i said i had to move the car to my friends house until i get the stupid sticker that i paid for half a month ago, and can park my car legally in the parking lot
