a small update for you guys, nothing major:

first i got some of this stuff:

then one of these things and started to polish my intercooler

i have been sick and/or super busy this month so i only polished it a little bit but its gonna need sand paper and stuff and alot more work so its at a friends garage at the moment, srry no pics yet...

in this picture i'm showing you where i got the donor studs from to use for the block off plate, the black ones had to go there because clearance for a bolt is so tight that they give you two studs with the manifold to change them from the factory ones. problem is that the nuts are totally warped and not cut right so thats why i have nothing on them right now

and thats about it but i did get this in the mail and i plan on doing a product review of it whenever i get it installed, only problem i have is they say in the listing that the pipes are 'polished' and they sort of are, but when i see the word polished i want them to be like mirror finish shiny so i'm gonna have to polish all that crap too, either way seems like decent kit at a glance for 120 bucks shipped.

fresh Greddy Type S knockoff BOV:

and thats it for now...

Try to shorten the return line hose in order to give it a more natural flow as you well know that the oil's flow in the return line is gravitational.

That's about it. good luck with the rest of the build.

well i need something to route the exhaust gases away from my radiator otherwise it will melt my radiator shroud

old downpipe that came with turbo (i cut half of it off cause it wouldn't clear anything)

meet mr. turbo torch!

once i torched it to get it hot and whaled on it with a hammer (needed to not touch radiator shroud) i got it to fit good enough for now so that i can focus on other things

its a TIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTTTT fit but and unfortunately still touches (BARELY) but i don't care, if it melts a tiny part of radiator shroud so be it, i'm moving on to polishing my intercooler/piping next!

Try to put some Thermal Tape. Should stop a little bit, the excesive heat.
