a fost o asemenea masina anul trecut in Constanta,a unui slatar,parca din Palazu adusa de afara si avea probleme cu linia ca sparsese baia intr-o groapa

are 6 in linie si nu in V cum se contrazicea Sebastian mai inainte si are acelasi arbore cotit ca si senator de 3000-24V,masina fiind in proportie de 90% opel

Nu am apucat sa citesc toate posturile... am vazut ca sunt ceva discutii despre aceasta mashina...ba ca ii lotus cu caroserie de omega ba ca s-au fabricat 9xx exemplare ba ca ii opel cu motor de lotus etc.... eu am cautat pe net date despre aceasta mashina .....
iata un citat luat de pe un site dedicat acestei mashini.... imi cer scuze in caz de a mai fost postata odata chestia asta...

Like the Alpina B10 Biturbo, the Lotus Omega was first introduced at the 1989 Geneva Auto Show and was produced in limited numbers until 1994. About 1100 Omegas were built in the years between 1991 when it entered production and 1994. Unlike other Lotus models like the Esprit, the Omega was not a homegrown model but instead a modification of someone else's work, the Opel Omega 3000GSi 24v to be precise, the top of the line Omega. At that time both Lotus and Opel were owned by GM, which felt that a special high performance model of the Omega was required to change its plain, bland image. The original engine, a 3.0L DOHC 24v inline-6, was enlarged to 3.6L, and two Garrett T25 turbos were added, along with a water-cooled intercooler ("Chargecooler" in Lotus lingo). The original 5-speed manual gearbox was substituted by a ZF 6-speed item, straight from the now-extinct Corvette ZR-1, with the deletion of the "skip-shift" feature found in the ZR-1. Apparently the gearbox was the only one GM could find that is capable of handling the Omega's massive torque. None of the Omegas are believed to exist in North America, and only 440 of the 1100 were built British-spec RHD.

este si in baia mare un lotus omega ,proprietarul mi-e prieten bun si cand odata a avut neaparat nevoie de bani a zis ca il vinde cu 16.500.am si pus anunt pe forum dar nu a venit nimeni in decurs de o luna cat timp a avut nevoie de bani!!!fiind masina lui de suflet nu tare ii vine sa o vanda .pretul actual este 20.000 eur fara negocieri!am avut ocazia mai des sa simt masina si e o senzatie unica! respect!

@mara: daca tu ai facut pozele, da-mi te rog de stire pentru ca ma intereseaza trasnaia aia daca ar fi de vanzare...

si... daca e lotus omega, dece are sigla opel?

sal all. Verisorul meu are un Lotus Omega si i s-a stricat un rulment de la diferential.
Daca cumva stie cineva un diferential de vanzare va rog frumos...

@dj01fad "daca e lotus omega, dece are sigla opel?" Pt ca este un Opel Omega realizat cu participare Lotus. La vremea aceea amandoua faceau parte din GM si sa considerat un + de imagine pt cele doua marci ... Lotus s-a limitat insa la modificare platformei a puntii spate si setarea suspensiei,La motorul s-a lucrat atat in Germania cat si in Anglia e mai mult opera celor de la Opel fiind ce-i drept folosit sistemul Chargecooled care e patentat de Lotus."Proiectarea blocului si a celorlalte subansamble importante a fost facuta la Russelsheim si s-a mers acolo pe mai multe variante ale acestui motor existand si o varianta destinata curselor.
Cutia de viteze e acelasi tip cu cea folosita pe Corvette ZR1 insa a fost nevoie sa fie consolidata pentru a putea face fata cuplului enorm al motorului, C36GET.Diferentialul e de asemenea diferit fata de celelalte modele Omega , provenienta fiind Holden (GM Australia)". Au fost produse 1100 bucati dar vandute doar 950 ,restul fiind demontate si vandute ca piese , politica gresita a celor de la GM care nu s-au pus la punct si cu piesele de schimb pt masina ,si s-au trezit ca au vandut masina dar nu au piese de schimb pt ea ,si s-au decis sa nu le vanda pe toate ci sa le demonteze si la le vanda ca piese de schimb pt cele 950 ... In concluzie cine doreste una sa se gandeasca daca si gaseste piese pt ea pt ca piesele sunt inexistente ... In romania exista una in Baia Mare iar proprietarul actual a depus eforturi supraomenesti sa o repuna in circulatie ...
