2007 Jeep Wrangler
Noul Jeep Wrangler vrea sa devina cel mai capabil off-road din lume. Este disponibil in 3 variante Wrangler X, Sahara si Rubicon.
Motorizare este V6 de 3,8-litri 205 hp urmand sa fie disponibil probabil si un diesel.
Siguranta la volan este asigurata de numeroase sisteme dintre care: Electronic Stability Program (ESP), \"electronic roll mitigation\", air-baguri dual-stage, air-aguri laterale si sistemul Occupant Classification (OCS) ce configureaza interventia airbagurilor in functie de greutatea pasagerilor.

La capitolul performante off road trebuie sa asteptam datele despre varianta diesel de motorizare... puterea si cuplul maxim; se stie ca aceste date sunt cele mai importante alaturi de garda la sol, unghiul de atac si cel de degajare... care par promitatoare din poze

Improved ground clearance, combined with short front and rear overhangs, enables the all-new 2007 Jeep Wrangler to navigate the world’s most challenging off-road trails, especially severe inclines. A boulder-friendly approach angle of 44.3 degrees and breakover angle of 25.4 degrees, along with a 40.4 degree departure angle, once again make the 2007 Jeep Wrangler the most formidable off-roader.
Providing unmatched wheel articulation and durability, Jeep Wrangler X and Sahara models feature an enhanced Dana 30 front axle and Dana 35 rear axle. For the all-new 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model, heavy-duty front and rear axles are both Dana 44s, which feature numerous improvements. With the optional trailer tow package, a Dana 44 rear axle is standard on all media. Providing significant underbody protection are three skid plates — protecting the fuel tank, transfer case and automatic transmission oil pan.
For the first time, Jeep Wrangler offers an electronic-disconnecting front stabilizer bar — Active Sway Bar System (ASBS) — delivering additional wheel travel for traversing the toughest trails. As a result, the all-new 2007 Jeep Wrangler boasts a 652 Ramp Travel Index (RTI — a measurement of a vehicle’s suspension articulation) with the front stabilizer bar engaged and an 832 RTI with the front stabilizer bar disconnected — a 28 percent increase.
Jeep Wrangler X and Sahara models feature the second-generation Command-Trac® NV241, part-time, two-speed transfer case, featuring a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. In addition, a Trac-Lok® limited-slip rear differential provides extra torque and grip during low-traction situations, such as driving over sand, gravel, snow or ice.
The all-new 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model features an Off-Road Rock-Trac™ NV241 two-speed transfer case with a 4.0:1 low-range gear ratio, as well as electric front- and rear-axle lockers and 32-inch B.F. Goodrich Off-Road tires.

intotdeauna mi-a placut wrangler-ul .... ca sa devina cel mai tare nui trebuie motor mare neaparat! intra multe aspecte cum ar fi unghiul de atac si cele spuse mai sus dar si greutatea care isi pune cuvantul in noror mai ales!

la exterior nu mi se pare un model nou,ci mai de greaba un face-lift,insa cand am vazut interiorul....mi-am dat seama k e vorba de noua generatie jeep wrangler.chiar imi place

am vazut ieri la promotor prezentarea pt jeep in america la acel salon
demn de o legenda .......a iesit pe strada din salon printr-un geam si a mers vreo 50 100 m si a urcat in fata unei cladiri impunatoare pe niste scari
apoi pe alte scari tot acolo si pe lateral scria wrangler .....superb

Cu un motor V6 cu doar 205 cai putere nu are cum sa fie nici pe departe cel mai bun off`road... Dar.... din kte am vazut... e un inceput promitator pt cei d la jeep, poate urmatorul model va fi cel mai bun....

a fi un bun off-road nu inseamna a avea un motor puternic cu demaraje bune sau mai stiu eu ce...
ci a avea garda la sol mare...a putea urca pante inclinate calumea...a putea trece peste pietre mari si altele...asta inseamna offroad bun nu 0-100km facuti in 6 secunde
