Piggyback Fuel Computer
Modifies air-flow meter signal (pressure signal in some vehicles) to optimize fuel-air ratio; Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD).
The second-generation SAFC is a fuel computer that adjusts fuel/air ratio by modifying the air-flow meter/MAP sensor signal. The SAFC features a user-definable, eight-point, adjustable fuel curve that can be set in 500 RPM increments. The range of fuel adjustment is +/- 50% at each of the user-defined setting points. On hot-wire vehicles, the Deceleration Air Flow Correction function is capable of curing the erratic idle and stall problems associated with open-atmosphere blow-off valves on hot-wire air-flow meter systems. The SAFC is capable of monitoring and replaying the following data channels in Numerical, Analog Meter and Graph displays: Intake Manifold Vacuum/Boost Pressure, Air Flow Capacity, Intake Manifold Pressure, Karmann Frequency, Engine RPM, Throttle Position, and Air Flow Correction %.

Si costa cam 250€...din cate mi-a spus un mecani nu prea renteaza sa dai banii pe el..mai bine iei un ECU daca tot dai banii si sti ca ai pace

Am intzeles ca nu merge pt orice Vtec ... m`am uitat la un vtec controller pe un site shi specifica ca nu merge pt Vtec-E de exemplu cum am yo shi pt mai multe feluri de vtec

Azi am avut ocazia sa merg in stanga cu un NSX modificat de MUGEN(axe,evacuare,calculator,autoblocant...),masi na are vtec controller cu buton de max-min langa cele de dezaburire.Cu el dat la minim ma baga in scaun pur si simplu,cu el la maxim se ingusteaza strada in fata mea si ochii in chederul de la partbriz,nu am mai apucat sa vad decat in franare ca avea vreo 130.Nu face,nu merge...asa este, nu e bun,e perfect.Cea mai tare jucarie facuta de Honda.


ps: nu stim nici noi ce setari avea la minim sau maxim,asa a venit masina

Stiu sigur ca VTEC Controller'ul merge pe toate motoarele cu VTEC mecanic... orice VTEC controlat electronic, cum este si cazul EP3'ului nu ii va surade aceasta solutie inginereasca ...

Kickass ar putea sa ne spuna mai multe pt ca are o asemenea jucarie Apexi montata pe masina si stiu ca vroia sa o dea jos (sau poate a facut-o deja) si sa o vanda asa ca il puteti contacta...

@Urban_Racing: te sfatuiesc dak vrei sa umblii la masina ta sa faci urmatoarele: pt soft fie apelezi la o solutie "profi", vezi Hondata, care o sa iti controleze si pragul de VTEC si limitarea de turatie eventual, fie poti incerca la noi la cei de la MasterTuner (s-au mai "jucat" si cu EP3'ul lui Tsentean si mai au cate ceva experienta la Honda). Afara, Unichipurile Dastek au ceva priza la Honde... acum ramane de vazut ce se intampla si la noi si pt sunet si aparente racing mai intai scapa de finale, lasa tseava pana in tipsurile alea triunghiulare (sa le inlocuiesti e o solutie f costisitoare, iar fara finala kiar nu suna dramatic deloc, ci placut agresiv)
