Alex din state…acesta este proiectul meu : 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, motor 2000cc 4g63 turbo, 5 viteze, AWD, LSD pe spate, 190cai@6000rpm stock.


De doi ani de zile am lucrat la masina asta in fiecare seara cu scopul de a atinge bariera de 600cai cu un motor de 4 cylindri/2400cc Mitsubishi.


Modificari:

Engine/Motor:
-4g64 2.4L stroker block and crankshaft;
-Oliver forged rods ( “I” beam style);
-Ross forged pistons 9.0:1 compression;
- C.O.P aka Coil On Plug swapped ignition with M.S.D module;
-Blueprinted bottom end;
-Greddy Kevlar timming belt;
-ARP head studs;
-3 Layer Metal Head Gasket;
ETC ETC ETC;

Cylinder Head/Cap cylindru’ :
-Race spec DOHC 2.0L 4g63 head;
-Ported and polished head;
- “O” ringed cylinder head;
-272 Intake/272 Exhaust HKS cams;
-Titanium springs and retainers free reving at 9000 RPM redline;
- +1mm oversized Stainless Steel Valves;
-bronze valve guides;
Etc…etc…

Turbo system/Sistem turbo:
-Garret GT35R turbocharger capable of 30-40PSI( 2BAR+) BOOST rated 700HP+
-external TIAL turbo wastegate;
-HUGE Front Mount Intercooler;
- Custom built exhaust manifold;
- Greddy BOV aka Blow Off Valve;
- 3 inch Intecooler Piping;
- 3 inch full exhaust from turbo-muffler;

Fuel/Modificari pompa benzina etc…
-In trunk 20gal fuel cell;
-Aeromotive A1000 external fuel pump with twin inline 10 micron filters;
-Aeromotive FPR aka Fuel Pressure Regulator;
-Stainless Steel Fully Braided fuel lines;
- 4 x 880CC PTE fuel injectors good for 700HP+;
-Forester brand Intake manifold with EVO III bored throttle body;





Engine management/Electronics: Creierul bestiei:
- 1992 EPROM ECU chipped and tunned by me;
- rev limiter set at 9000 RPM;
- custom fuel and timming maps to support turbo and 9000rpm redline;
- 880cc compensated injectors thru ECU;
- modified idle speed to 950 rpm;
- Laptop/logger hardwired into ECU;
-Greddy electronic Boost controler;
- Autometer BOOST/EGT/AFR/OIL press gauges;
-Apex’i turbo timer;
Etc…etc…


Driveline/Cutie de viteze etc…:
-ACT 2600lbs 6 puck racing clutch;
-Fidanza aluminum flywheel;
-Fully built transmission with taller 1st and 5th gears;
-Quife built in LSD;
-new transfer case and aluminum driveshaft;


Etc ….etc….etc….etc….etc.

Masina a costat initial 2000 de dolari si producea 190 cai.
Doi ani + mii si miii de dolari mai tarziu masina cu un motor nou de 2400cc produce
estimativ 650cai+. Estimativ pt ca ultima data cand am fost la un dyno s-au rupt planetarele spate amble la 652cai@7855RPM in treapta 4 si nu am putut lua o citire exacta! Masina este tunata la 26 PSI presiune turbo AKA 1.80 BAR cand am avut-o pe dyno. Astept noile planetare Fidanza, marim presiunea la 2.00 BAR si ne ducem la dyno din nou!!! Sa-mi tineti pumni…..

in sfarsit un om serios a bagat banii cu cap...bravoooo ajuta ma si pe mine cu ceva ideei pt un d22a 2000 16v 150hp din 1993

Intai trebuie sa-mi spui ce gol ai cu masina...
Motoarele non-turbo 4g63 aka 2.0L aspirat au pistoane diferite cu compresie mult mai mare in comparatie cu versiunea turbo. Camele sunt diferite, injectoarele diferite, ECU-ul(computerul) este diferit, cutia de viteze este diferita, pompa de benzina este mai mica...etc..
Cum in Romania se gasesc piese aftermarket de Mitsu ff. greu este dificil sa obti rezultate mari, DAR in Anglia s-a comercializat EVO I-III si multe piese sunt upgrade pt motorul tau.
Pt motorul tau STOCK recomand turbo, exhaust manifold, si down pipe de la un EVO 1-2-3. Evo 3 are cel mai mare turbo din era lui :evoIII 16G turbo!
O sa-ti trebuiasca injectoarele 'galbene' de la un evo care au o capacitare de 510cc si o metoda de compenare a injectoarelor...eu recomand:
APEX'I SAFC(Super Air FLow Converter).
Intercooler, si toata galeria de inductie este compatibila de la evo 1-2-3.
Pompa de benzina trebuie sa fie cel putin de 190Litri/h. A ta stock este 90 Litri/h. :)
In principiu tot sistemul turbo de la un evo I-III se poate transfera pe motorul tau fara probleme.
Daca rulezi putin BOOST 0.6BAR aka 8.7PSI motorul ar trebui sa produca
200-250 cai lejer.

nu vreau turbo la liniile organizate o sa intru in alta grupa.....si nu am banii pt o asa investitie.
tu imi spui ca evo I II si III au motorizarea de pe eclipse??
pe langa axele cu came ce modificari as putea sa ii mai fac?

EVO I, II si III au motor 4g63 de 2.0L DOHC ,lafel ca Eclipse 1990-1999, hyundai Sonata 1990-1998, etc etc...
Diferenta este intre pistoane, came, injectoare, turbo....blocul motor si capul de cilindru este aproape identic si se poate interschimba.
Prima modificare si cea mai ieftina este sa adaptezi un nou filtru de aer.
