In acest moment este montat pe masina mea si se poate asculta de proba. Nu are niciun defect.

Test: Helix AFC Signal Converter
The Helix AFC is a brand new representative of the increasingly important signal converter range of equipment (AFC = active frequency converter). It enables an amplifier to be connected to the speaker jack of any radio – no matter it is a standard radio or a modified device without a cinch jack.
Various controllers and switches for the individual functions are located on the top of the device, which is in the classical Helix-look. A potentiometer controls the output level of the cinch jacks which, with a maximum output voltage of 9.5 V, far exceeds that of the majority of car radios and processors.
It is not only possible to adjust the main level, the channels can also be adjusted individually. On the input side, the AFC provides a maximum of up to 60 watts of power – more than sufficient for the majority of standard systems.
A special feature for the more elaborate active systems found in modern cars is the aggregation of individual channels. This feature joins the individual signal parts for tweeters, medium-range speakers and woofers into a single, complete signal in the AFC, which is then transmitted from the cinch jack in the form of a buzzing signal.
To fight against interference and generator whistling, Audiotec Fischer has added a clever feature: small jumpers that can be used to create various ground connections between the cinch shield and chassis earth. This enables any interference to be eliminated effectively and simply.
In our test the AFC worked perfectly. It converted the high-level input signal without distortion into an end-range compatible NF signal, the quality of which, across the entire frequency range, was by no means inferior to normal preamplifier radio signals.
Neat: the AFC distributes preamplifier signals via six high-quality cinch jacks.
