Hardlock-installation with Windows 98SE, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, 2003 and XP
The software you've received is "hardlock protected". You will be able to use the software after having realized the following steps:
1. If you use Windows 98SE or ME please proceed with topic 3.
2. If you use Windows NT 4.0 or higher please log in as "administrator" or as an equivalent user.
3. Please insert the enclosed CD and start the hardlock installationprogram "hardlock(.exe)". Follow the screen commands.
4. Please restart the computer first and then connect the USB-Hardlock directly to your computer.
The device manager of your operating system detects the USB hardlock as "new device” will install it. After the successful installation the LED on the USB hardlock will show that the hardlock is ready.
5. Please start the installation program on the application CD. You will find it in the root directory of the CD (e.g. setup.exe, etksetup.exe, epcsetup.exe ...).
Hint: In some special cases it may happen that the existing drivers are not supported by your operating system. Then please make a download of the most actual drivers from the internet and install them.
