Nu exista model de E36 sa aiba carcasa mare din fabrica, probabil de referi la carcasa medie de 188mm care intradevar are "miezul" interschimbabil cu cel de E34 tot de 188mm.
Ca informatie diversa, carcasa mare de E34 are 210mm si se gaseste doar pe M5 sau V8
