Exterior
This is a very nice Antique Bronze Metallic 1966 FORD Mustang 2 + 2 Fastback. This classic is in great shape. This Mare underwent a complete restoration in the late Eighties and as you can see has held to the test of time. This is a parade Mare great for a hot summer gallop. Dual exhaust from under the rear valance provides extra ********** through aspiration and sound deep and throaty.
The higher quality paint is less than 8 yrs old and still shows great from a few feet away with only a few minor blemishes. The body is nearly dent and ding free, and the lines and curves are nice and straight. Floors and skins were professionally replaced as needed during restoration and seem to be in great shape. All glass and chrome look great and shine bright. Meaty tires are mounted on Magnum 500’s and look sexy. The original FORD wheel covers come with the car.
Interior
The Deluxe Parchment Crinkle Vinyl with Palomino Appointments Pony Interior on this vintage stallion looks spectacular with no holes, tears, cuts or splits. The carpeting, door panels and upholstery look nearly perfect. A sophisticated Wood Grain Steering Wheel, Center console and Glove Box really dress up the interior. A unique factory Seat Belt Indicator Light reminds the driver to Buckle Up. The rear seats fold down and the trunk is separated by a folding barrier to fit a Surf Board or Skies. The windshield wipers, turn signals, lighter, heater fan and headlights operate fine. He also has optional deluxe seat belts in both the front and back seats. The original AM radio is intact and works great. All windows roll up and down easy. Lastly, he has the GT Rally Pack holding a tachometer and a clock that is correct twice a day. Overall, the interior is this Mare’s best selling point and feels great to sit in.
Mechanics
This Classic Steed is powered by a factory TWO BARREL C-Code strong sounding 289 cu in 8 cylinder engine. The engine compartment is clean and looks stunning. The Cruise-O-Matic Transmission shifts smoothly from gear to gear. His Power Disc Brakes stop this Mustang smartly and the Power Steering provides comfortable Cruising. Overall, the mechanics work great and you can tell he has been well cared for. This pony starts right up, drives out strong and straight. This Classic Steed was born to drive!!!
