daca ar fi o versiune turbo a motorului HEMI in loc de doar un HEMI mai mare, masina asta ar nimici aproape orice in varianta STOC. Sigur, multi deja au pus sisteme turbo si twinturbo pe motoare SRT8, dar daca ar veni de la fabrica ar fi un adevarat american muscle car!

Un adevarat muscle-car nu e turbo ci aspirat.Un big-block ca in anii '60 (cu blocul motor de aluminiu si cilindree mai mare) ar fi ceva interesant,dar nu cred ca Dodge va produce asa ceva atat datorita costurilor prea mari pe care le presupune o masina de strada de 650+ CP,cat si din cauza faptului ca ar face concurenta Viper-ului.

Performance targets for the new Challenger SRT8 include a 0-60mph time in the low five-second range, 0-100-0mph in less than 17 seconds, a quarter mile time of less than 14 seconds, 60-0mph braking distance of approximately 100ft, and a skid pad performance of 0.88g. Transmission options include either a five-speed auto or six-speed manual, although the car will initially be available with the automatic only.
