Assembly is nearly finished and the company expects to begin its initial test run within two weeks. The successful fulfillment of this key objective represents a major milestone on the road to the commercialization of this innovative product. Every indication shows that the Oscillating Piston Engine should surpass performance of current combustion engines on several levels.

The Oscillating Piston Engine's unique design includes novel features that are calculated to deliver notable performance gains over several fronts, ensuring the engine will compete favorably against any internal combustion engine in production today. In particular, this design dramatically simplifies a number of aspects associated with engine use and servicing, as it has only four primary moving sub-assemblies, no cumbersome valve train or water cooling system and only half as many discrete components as a conventional motor vehicle engine. The Oscillating Piston Engine is calculated to deliver significantly more horsepower than a conventional engine of equivalent weight and is therefore capable of delivering essentially any desired horsepower with a significantly lighter engine than regular combustion engines. This powerful, lightweight and uniquely simple engine can readily be seen to have significant advantages in applications where performance to weight ratio is a factor.

de laudat ca mai si lucreaza unii si mai inventeaza cate ceva

Se lucreaza intens si sunt destule patente, dar acesta este unul mai implementabil. Totusi, din cate vedeti, nu s-a renuntat la batranii cilindrii. Deci practic ar fi o e volutie mai deosebita. Sa vedem acum cine il va implementa. Poate peste 4-5 ani vom vedea si prima masina de serie cu asa ceva.

nu ma prea pricep la wankel dar parca este o derivatie a lui wankel, dar cu ceva imbunatatiri (pistoane cu segmenti care in caz de uzura se repara usor, etc)
pe de alta parte nu am vazut estimari de putere si daca nu ma insel nici de consum....si sa fiu al draku daca am inteles pana la urma ce sunt alea care se invart pe langa pistoane.

vezi ca au o sectiune cu multe poze cu motorul desfacut si o sa vezi acolo cum vin bielele, bolturile si cum se transmite miscarea
