Volvo S40 Evolve a fost realizat inpreuna cu aeeasi firma Evolve care anul trecut a realizat supercaruri-le bazate pe S60. Tema de anul acesta a fost S40, modificat puternic la exterior dar si la interior si la partea tehnica. Sistemul de tractiune integrala de tip Haldex transmite tuturor celor patru roti o putere maxima de 425 CP, obtinuti prin folosirea unui turbocompresor mai mare. Rotile au o dimensiune uriasa de 19 inch si „ascund” discuri de frana uriase de 15 inch si un sistem de franare cu etriere cu 8 pistonase.
