Need for Speed Undercover
Hello guys.
New year, new nfs. Noul proiect a fost botezat Nfs:Undercover. The latest EA investors meeting was a great opportunity for the company's boss, John Riccitiello to unveil a host of new and exciting projects. We have already reported that Godfather II was announced as a combination between a GTA and a RTS game and now we are really excited to tell you that a new title in the Need For Speed franchise has been unveiled! Dubbed NFS Undercover, it has already been in development for a long time according to Riccitiello (at least, longer than the previous title in the franchise). According to website Eurogamer, EA's boss admitted that the company was torturing the developers with their 12-month development cycles for eight years in a row, but that changed: "Last summer we added head count and split the team in two, so now there are two teams on a 24 month cycle," stated Riccitiello."We were torturing a very talented group of people up in Vancouver, which makes it harder to be as innovative every year. So, I think we are going to get better from here." We truly hope so, because the last installments of the NFS games were pretty much the same thing. Electronic Arts' boss seems to have the same opinion, stating that Pro Street was an "okay game", not a good one and Undercover is going to change the situation by bringing in a richer storyline. Also, Riccitiello stated that the new Need For Speed game would take some inspiration from action movies such as The Transporter. Having this in mind and judging by the really cool title, we'd tend to believe that Need For Speed Undercover might be as original as a sequel can get. We just hope we're not wrong - and we'll see that whenever EA decides to offer more details on the game. As expected, no release date has been announced and we don't even know which platforms the game is developed for, but we have a feeling that, like the previous ones, it will be made available on every single platform on the market. |

Supposedly she made a "Mini-Movie" for EA's next Need for Speed game. It's not clear yet, which role she'll be playing in the game, but on the right sinde you see a picture which could be taken at this shooting. Christina Milian is 26 years old and known from movies like Love Don't Cost A Thing, Man Of The House and Be Cool, as well as several TV-series. In her music career she made 4 albums and 9 singles. Faina Christina,dar totusi sa ramanem la joc,sper sa fie o lista de masini cat mai lunga si sper ca jocul sa nu dezamageasca,pentru ca de la underground 2 cei de la EA au cam dat-o in bara,mai putin Pro Street,dar si ala:(,sa speram ca va face senzatie jocul:D

În cadrul unei întâlniri cu investitorii companiei, John Riccitiello - CEO Electronic Arts - a dezvăluit că publisher-ul american va lansa la sfârşitul acestui an Need for Speed Undercover, singurele informaţii oferite momentan fiind faptul că povestea va fi mai detaliată, iar stilul asemănător cu cel al filmelor de acţiune, cum ar fi The Transporter.

Sa speram ca o sa fie ceva tare ... cred ca daca nu vor reusi sa faca ceva cu un gameplay realist vor recurge la varianta graficii impresionante pentru a atrage atentia ;).

Hm...presimt ca o sa fie ceva gen...fast and furious...personajul cred ca va fi ceva..un politist sub acoperire(Undercover) ce se va infiltra in lumea curselor ilegale :D ..ar fi ceva o astfel de poveste dar cine stie :D

EA's Chef John Ricitello reveiled some details of the next Need for Speed at the William Blair & Company's annual growth stock conference: The game is called Need for Speed: Undercover and has a very strong mission structure, similar to "The Transporter". Additionally it has a huge embedded storyline, so it gets a narrative touch.
Since Ricitello was pretty disappointed with NFS ProStreet, we can hope that EA will learn from its mistakes. According to Ricitello the Need for Speed Dev-Team in Vancouver had been working for eight consecutive years on a 12 month development cycle. Last summer the team was split and now there are two teams on a 24 month cycle. Unfortunately NFS:Undercover will be only 16 months development time, but the next year's NFS will be a full two-year development cycle. "We were torturing a very talented group of people up in Vancouver, which makes it harder to be as innovative every year. So, I think we are going to get better from here. "I'm confident that Undercover is a much better game than Pro Street, and I expect that from this point forward they will do a lot better." So, we will see what we can expect from NFS: Undercover. Seful EA Ioan Ricitello a spus unele detalii cu privire la next Need For Speed de la William Blair & Company's creştere anuală de stoc conferinta: Jocul se numeste Need For Speed: Undercover şi are o misiune foarte puternică structură, similar cu "The Transporter". În plus, are un imens storyline încorporat, deci el devine o naraţiune atingi.
Deoarece Ricitello a fost destul de dezamăgit cu NFS ProStreet, putem să sperăm că EA va învăţa din greşelile sale. Potrivit Ricitello de Need For Speed dev-Echipa de la Vancouver de lucru a fost timp de opt ani consecutiv pe un ciclu de 12 luni de dezvoltare. Ultima vară echipa a fost împărţită, iar acum sunt două echipe pe un ciclu de 24 luni. Din păcate, NFS: Undercover va fi doar 16 luni de dezvoltare timp, dar de anul viitor va fi un NFS complet de doi ani ciclu de dezvoltare. As we already reported, the new NFS will carry the name Need for Speed: Undercover. Our affiliate NFSGame.net received a flyer of the upcoming E3 expo, with some rumours of NFS Undercover. Although the picture looks quite official, the information can be doubted, since it sounds more like a mixup of Burnout and GTA than Need for Speed: - 13 car brands and 3 motor brands - new prize system of getting cars (non-buy) - detailed non-switched off damage model - fully arcade physics engine - 3D smoke technology - improved graphics engine - Undercover-Mode offering to carry out time-trial missions with ability to use weaponwtf :?: - possibility to improving the hero (increase health points, reaction etc) - night street racing cups - racing stadium allowing to show improbable tricks in air and get points - available on Xbox360, PS3, PS2, Wii, PSP and DS:?::?::?: pc:?: Sounds weird? It is. Weapons in Need for Speed? Stunts in a stadium? Heros? Motorcycles? Ok, Motorcycles sound a little bit plausible, but the rest seems to be very fictional. Even the grammar in this flyer doesn't look very official, so don't take it at face value. An official announcement from Electronic Arts is still missing, but we will keep you informed. Update: As presumed, we got confirmation that this flyer is definitely a fake. For more information about the game we will have to wait for the official announcement from EA. wtf ? |

There wasn't much news about the latest NFS title: Need for Speed Undercover, but at the EA press converence at the E3 in Los Angeles the game silently slipped in. The game hasn't been announced as you might expected, because NFS Undercover still can't be found in EA's E3 line-up. During EA's presentation of new games for the iPhone they noted the 3D-capabilities and announced among others Need for Speed Undercover for this innovative gaming platform "iPhone"! http://www.filehost.ro/hotlink/337915_iphone.jpg Unfortunately there is no information at all, how the game will look like on the iPhone, not to mention when it will be release, but to bring the genre "racing" to the iPhone could be quite interesting.. In NFS Undercover you play an undercover cop, which has the mission to infiltrate and takedown an international crime syndicate. The storyline is mission-based, so you have to take jobs and compete in races to prove yourself. Apart from you there is only one person, who knows the real identity of the player - your only contact to the outer world: Federal Agent Chase Linh. This person is played by the famous actress Maggie Q, which you might know from 'Mission Impossible III' or 'Live Free or Die Hard'.
