PROBLEMELE MASINILOR NOI

CITAT
It makes me laugh when I read articles in the press telling me about the pleasures of the new BMW 745i. You should see my face when I also read that the engine in this car won the prestigious 'Car engine of the year award' in 2002. The people who make these claims have obviously never lived with one for more than a week. In April last year, the company I work for as a chauffeur, took delivery of a gleaming new 745i. Everyone, including myself, were impressed from the start. However, 14 days after taking delivery, the car suffered a loss of oil pressure whilst driving at 70mph on the M40 - resulting in a swift manoeuvre to the hard shoulder as the management system started shutting everything down. The car was transported back to the dealer who kept it for 16 days after which it was returned complete with a new engine. Two weeks after this the air conditioning packed up. This was followed a month later by alternator and battery problems and within weeks of these, more engine problems and some new ones with the immobiliser not turning off. In the 13 months we had this car, it was returned to the dealer 11 times, six of which were on the back of a transporter. My \"Ultimate driving machine\" over the last year or so has included courtesy and rental cars - Nissan Primera, VW Sharan, Volvo S60, Vauxhall Omega and old-shape 7 series. The car was eventually taken back by BMW UK, and replaced with a new 745Li. This car drives like a dream compared with the other one and yet four weeks ago the audio control unit went, leaving me without any stereo, navigation, hands-free telephone or audible parking sensors (the visual one still works, thankfully!). Even the clock isn't working. The part has been on order all this time, but has not appeared yet, and the dealer informs me that other customers are awaiting them as well. I have heard of other horror stories with the new 7-Series, many of which, apparently, have resulted in the car being returned and yet I still hear nothing but praise from the press. Maybe the next Top Gear motoring survey may change this. My advice to anyone, is to think carefully about buying an all-new model and consider waiting until the flaws have been corrected, unless you fancy driving more cars in a year than Jeremy! Hehehehehe HONDA SA IA FOC :))))
Honda Accord Type R [June 2003] I bought a Honda Accord Type R in November 2001 and it has been perfect with no problems - until Saturday 10 May 2003. My partner and I heard a whoosh and the blinds lit up orange as the car went up in flames. We called the Fire Service and the Police - and I am Leading Firefighter in the Service working at the same station as the crew attending. I got the crew to check the car out and it was obvious that the cause was an electrical fault that started under the bonnet either on the wiring harness or the relay box. The whoosh and the full fire glow was the windscreen breaking and the combustible gases igniting when escaping from the passenger compartment. On getting back to the station I asked the Leading Firefighter who attended what the cause was - he said it was definitely electrical. On 11 May I informed the supplying dealer about the car, that I thought it was an electrical fault which caused the fire and that it was a warranty issue with the car being only 19 months old. They agreed to take the car back to look it over and advised that the car was a write off. Then I was told I would have to go through the insurance, as for it to be a warranty issue I would have to prove the part that failed and caused the fire. But the fire had damaged the parts, making it impossible to isolate the faulty one. Now I am having to reluctantly take this through the insurance as nothing has been forthcoming from Honda UK or the supplying dealer - not even a courtesy car whilst an investigation takes place. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Honda S2000 I have an S2000 that has a mind of its own. My car is on a 52-plate and has never worked correctly since new - so far it has had a new cat followed by a new ECU and then a new engine. I have now got it back from the Honda dealer with a dent and electrical problem. I am now losing interest in the car and feel I have no way of getting justice. Graham Head - [email protected] .................................................. ............ onda Accord Tourer (2004) [May 2004] I bought my new Accord Tourer 2.4 Executive (auto) in January and the problems started almost immediately. The first one was the car shunting. Going along at speed (30-70 mph), at constant throttle, the car 'stuttered' for no reason. I took the car to the dealer, who spoke to Honda UK. They decided to put on an ECU monitor. When the car shunts, I push a green button and a mass of readings from the ECU are stored for later analysis. Unfortunately, the readings collected were downloaded incorrectly and lost and so I had to go back to have the monitor put on again. In the meantime, the front driver and passenger windows started making loud creaking noises from 5 mph upwards. The dealer agrees that the noises are 'terrible' and has tried lubricating one of the window seals. This didn't work. I've never had a car make noises like this, so I have investigated the problem on the web. It turns out a Japanese Tourer owner had reported this noise to Honda Japan, which has been working on a solution for over a year. Apparently, newly designed seals are now available there and I have mentioned this to my dealer (and printed out the part numbers for him). The UK standard replacement ones have not worked. The final diagnosis for the shunting is a faulty ignition relay, though the monitor has been left on the car to take more readings just in case there are other factors involved. Now the car has also started to emit a continuous, loud screeching noise from either the front wheels or underneath the car itself. I certainly drew some attention from a pub crowd and neighbours as I screeched past. Honda has always had a reputation for reliability and quality, but this car tells a different story. I must have been back to the dealer six or seven times now and more rattles appear almost every day. I'm beginning to think that the interior trim is held together with paper clips.
Having always believed that Italian cars should be treated as no more than a one-night stand, unlike German cars that make for lasting relationships, I succumbed to the salesman's 48-hour trial last summer. After negotiating a fantastic price, I took delivery of a Maserati 4200CC. Problems: CC is absolutely useless if you need to drive in traffic or have hills to negotiate. The direct drive allows no slow take off! You cannot park on a hill My boot catch was too sensitive: if closed from half an inch it would bounce open Memory seats have a mind of their own Passenger door did not open from outside if not used for two days Fuel consumption of 12mpg Maserati sign on the ashtray fell off on the first day Rubber seals round lights came off Wheel nuts rusted after first rainfall Recall from Maserati for steering bolts: may lead to impaired steering! It developed a knocking: suspension bolts had never been tightened Alarm always goes off even in the garage! But it still makes people smile, who say how beautiful the car is, and the engine on a nice day makes for rapid progress in style and comfort. As I said, the dealer is fantastic and if you are tempted by that one-nighter make sure you trust the dealer. Year - 2003 Mileage - 15,000 Anon - [email protected] I've got a Maserati 4200GT Cambiocorsa. As far as all the problems are concerned, I don't know where to start! The boot latch works - sometimes The alarm goes off - a lot The CD changer had to be changed The air conditioning broke - in the summer The ECU light came on, then went off, then came on The Sat Nav would'nt nav The wheel nuts rusted - it's a £70k car! The windows didn't shut tight The seat belts had to be changed All in all, probably won't get another one... Then when mine brokedown, the one they lent me blew a fuse and all the lights went out in the dark at 70mph on the M11! Neil Denton - [email protected] |

Hondarule lasa noi sa fim sanatosi :D
Hai ca bag de la rivalul Mercedes Mercedes S320 CDi Within 1,000 miles the rear shock absorber of my E320 Cdi Avantgarde failed and almost caused an accident. This was replaced under warranty and the car has been fine but is now making an odd noise from under the dash, like a servo is whirring. This is very pronounced on switching off the ignition or trundling along in a traffic jam, otherwise it happens about every 15 minutes. On getting the car serviced I was told that this is normal and is because I have \"uprated brakes\". Can anyone advise as to whether this is the case, the car was standard Avantgarde trim? |
:P :P :P :P :P
