Acest M4 este plin de carbon si alte chestii. E o editie speciala si rs5 nu se poate pune decat la motor, fiind si la jumatate de pret.
Nu este fair sa de compare chestiile special construite cu produse de serie.
Rs5 doar cu un M4 normal

Nu mi se par concludente aceste videouri , aici parca sunt la egalitate dar cand filmeaza masinile una din ele ramane in spate si nu doar la acest video.

Audi a sugerat că viitoarele modele de performanță ar putea fi oferite și cu tracțiune spate, deși în mod tradițional sunt disponibile doar cu tracțiune integrală.

Unul dintre punctele de atracție ale oricărui model Audi de performanță este utilizarea unui sistem cu tracțiune integrală Quattro. De altfel, acest sistem a dat pentru o lungă perioadă de timp și numele diviziei de performanță a constructorului german, care recent a fost schimbat în Audi Sport.
Cu ocazia Festivalului Vitezei de la Goodwood, Stephan Winkelmann, șeful celor de la Audi Sport, a sugerat că schimbarea ar putea avea implicații mai mari, cum ar fi dezvoltarea unor modele cu tracțiune spate.

"Am decis că numele Quattro poate fi înșelător. Quattro este sistemul cu tracțiune integrală și este unul dintre lucrurile care a făcut ca Audi să fie grozav, dar în opinia noastră nu este numele potrivit pentru companie. De asemenea, îmi pot imagina că putem avea mașini cu tracțiune spate în viitor", a declarat el.

Winkelmann nu a oferit informații suplimentare pe marginea acestui subiect, însă șansele ca în viitor să apară modele Audi RS cu tracțiune spate sunt destul de mici. Principala explicație este că Audi ar fi nevoită să dezvolte o nouă platformă pentru aceste modele, în contextul în care germanii se confruntă cu probleme de vânzări și pun accent pe lansarea unor modele electrice.

Foamea de bani de la Bmw loveste in divizia M. In scurt timp toate modele M3/M4 (cu exceptia CS si GTS) vor primi in locul mult marketatului cardan din CFRP unul conventional din otel, vezi doamne trebuie sa intruneasca nush ce emisii si sa acomodeze un filtru "petrol particulate filter (PPF)". Bmw a vandut pana acum 68.000 de bucati si probabil ca in putinii ani ramasi, ar mai trage un pic la profit, de unde se poate. Jenibil.

From November 2017 onwards, the CFRP driveshaft in the BMW M3 Sedan, BMW M4 Coupe and BMW M4 Convertible high-performance sports cars (fuel consumption combined: 9.5 – 8.3 l/100 km [29.7 – 34.0 mpg imp], CO2 emissions combined: 218 –194 g/km) will be gradually replaced by an M specific high-performance driveshaft made of steel. This measure will create the necessary technical basis for meeting future statutory emissions requirements. At a later point in time, a petrol particulate filter (PPF) will be incorporated into the existing installation space in these models in major markets.

The newly developed steel driveshaft has been designed to ensure the superlative performance and handling qualities of the BMW M3/M4 high-performance sports cars remain unaffected."

Bani au, dar vor mai multi, probabil trebuia sa scriu "foamea de profit". Pai de ce sa mai vinda M3/M4 cu un cardan scump de CFRP cand pot sa puna unul banal si mult mai ieftin din otel ? Sau de ce sa mai vanda viitoare modele M cu transmisie DCT cand ar putea sa o puna numai pe aia automata de la ZF. Pe vremuri cand iti lui un model M, aveai exclusivitate la capitolul motor (asta a tinut pana la E9x) si transmisie (smg/dct). In curand nu vei mai primi nici una nici alta. Ba mai mult, pe M2-ul ti-l vand cu un motor mediocru (N55B30T0), desi in restul gamei au adus B58-ul, care se pare ca are mai mult cuplu si bate M2-ul la viteze mari (era un video M2 (N55) vs. 240i (B58 ). Si iti mai gasesc... :)

Time will tell if the above information is accurate. Interesting, to say the least. First time that I read that the M2 GTS is definitely scheduled. I thought it was just some pipe dream. But actually, this could make sense if you consider BMW M special models history: a limited edition M2 GTS as the final curtain call for the first-generation M2 (end of production: 2020).

Nu e singurul comparativ de cacat pe care il "reusesc" astia de la Carwow, se pare ca de ceva timp numai gherle dau cand vine vorba de liniute. Asta pe langa faptul ca nu iti dau vreun trapspeed, ultima gogomanie e o liniuta intre modele M cu un rezultat cel putin bizar, iar cireasa de pe tort e cand constati ca M2-ul (manual) e in treapta a 3-a la 80km/h: www.youtube.com/embed/bCu0Z71QRF0?. si cred ca de fapt schimba intr-a 3-a la 75mph(super redline), deci aprox 120km/h.

nu imi pare nimic anormal cu ultimile doua linkuri.

Nu mi se pare deloc subturat in treapta a 3-a la 80km/h. Daca era sa faca in treapta a 2-a, trebuia sa plece de la ~5600rpm ceea ce era un pic cam sus, pierdea schimband a 3-a tot ce a castigat plecand in a 2-a.

@Specialist, e vorba de 50mph.
