Despite the efforts made by several car manufacturers (read French and German carmakers) to give their vans an extra edge, the title of International Van of the Year 2011 went to the Fiat Doblo Cargo.

Presented at this year's 2010 IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, Germany, the award went to the Italian vehicle after the jury found it to be a very comprehensive vehicle in terms of engines and offers a wide choice for its customers in terms of the number of platform and body types.

To win the title, the Fiat Doblo Cargo had to battle against the Renault Master and Opel Movano, as well as with the Mercedes-Benz Vito.

“The design of the winning van managed to impress in many ways but, most of all, thanks to the fact that Fiat managed to increase the number of platforms and body styles with which it is offered more than the competition,” said Pieter Wieman, the chairman of the jury.

“The Doblo range does not only include a Maxi version with a longer platform, but also versions of the platform which allow for different type of bodies to be fitted onto it.”

The Doblo is being offered with three Euro 5 engines, 1.4 gasoline (95 hp), 1.3 diesel Multijet (90 hp) and 1.6 diesel Multijet (105 hp), all equipped with a Start/Stop system. The average consumption figure for the model is 4.8l/100km (49 mpg) for the 1.3 diesel engine.

In addition to these engines, Fiat is getting ready for the release of the turbocharged CNG engine and a plug-in electric version.

Daca fac un sondaj oriunde vrei tu si imi iese ca Doblo e mai bun decat Vito eu iti cumpar tie un Doblo si daca nu imi cumperi tu un Vito?
Ai condus vreodata o Dubita Mercedes? nu zic de altele? Si ai mers si cu fiatul? Cred ca discutam doar ca sa ne aflam in treaba... unde ai gasit tu informatiile alea? nu ai precizat sursa

Conform premiilor acordate, da, e mai bun Doblo decat Vito.
Chiar si astia zic ca e cam tot acolo.

Degeaba ai spatiu daca o cari cu platforma la service de 2 ori pe saptamana...

Degeaba ai spatiu daca o cari cu platforma la service de 2 ori pe saptamana...
Deci daca nu-ti place masina nu se pun premiile, sau care-i logica ta?

Nu. Dar sincer pentru mine nu conteaza prea mult ce spun niste jurnalisti... Ar fi contat insa parerea proprietarilor care au utilizat o masina timp de 2 ani si a mecanicilor care stiu cam care sunt punctele slabe ale masinilor. Jurnalistii canta si ei ca manelarii acolo unde sunt platiti mai bine.
De obicei nu prea ma incred in topuri de astea.

Pentru asta am pus si screenshotul din Dekra Maengeln Report. Sunt date adunate de la proprietari, nu de la reprezentante/jurnalisti.

Bine tu personal ce ti-al lua? Mercedes sau Fiat? Eu unul mi-as lua Mercedes. Si eu zic sa incheiem ca ne-am cam abatut...

Fiat, pentru ca-si face treaba la fel de bine la jumatate de pret + intretinere mult mai ieftina.

Super Van of the Year .... cand dupa 2 luni si cam 2000 km, nu mai da nici un semn de viata si tre sa vina platforma sa il ia sau cand iti da Engine Failure dupa 4 luni si cam 6000 km pe Magheru si ia ghici .... vine platforma sa il ia. Si sa nu uit!!!! la fiecare luna schimbam cate un bec de faza scurta (AutoItalia nu gasea nici un defect) si la cam 3 luni un burduf de planetara (AutoItalia nu gasea nici un defect)

Iar culmea este ca nu sunt singurul care a patit asa ceva ca daca eram doar eu taceam ca na poate am avut eu ghinion cu masina. Dar astea sunt probleme tipice de Fiat
Si mai sunt.... ca de ex. se exfoliaza lacul si rugineste

Deci decat Fiat nou mai bine o Dacie 1310... la aia macar sti la ce sa te astepti

Fiat-ul sa taiat de pe lista de mult. Acum sunt in cautarea unui Ford Mondeo.

Cum suma sa marit (4300e) mi-a venit in minte si un golf 4 diesel. Numai stiu ce vreau...sunt derutat complet...:rolleyes2

da-mi id-ul tau de mess ca si eu sunt in exact aceeasi situatie... poate ne lamurim amandoi
