Baieti, am revenit cu dimensiunile pt axul fuliei V6 :

bag ceva poze pe care le-am gasit interesante.
-o plansa de bord ptr. capri -un capri scos la vanzare cu 2000 euro pe un forum de motociclisti. ...kestia e ca un englez spunea-http://www.capris-r-us.co.uk/special.htm-ca au fost fabricate 1200 de modele de capri special ce au ornamentul asta pe laterala, juma basescu -juma negru. dar ma gandesc ca ar fi prea mare posibilitatea ca din 1200 unu sa fie in rosiorii de vede(cel din imagine) si unul strivit in bacau prin kackamash pe el "programul rabla" |

Dunno if I can be much help, I've just followed advise from others, and read the book written by matey from California. Anyway. I believe the 6port Granny intake ain't that much cop. I've fitted the 6port inlet manifold from the 2.9engine. Needs a little work to go on, like hacking out the thermostat housing and tigging on a plate to hold the water in, but other than that pretty straight forward. Fitted the 2.9 twin plenum too. Fitted the injectors from an XR3i, short Bosch mech inj. Had to faf around with o seals and rails to hold the inj's in, but pretty easy really. I've also shortened the 'trumpets' on the plenum, more to aid bonnet clearance than anything else. Regards power, I've chatted to a few hillclimbers about this. Stock power is 160hp (Capri motor) on the nail. Dyno'ed and proven. However, if the valve clearances are set just slightly tight they lose masses of hp. Chap was telling me about his stock 1982 Capri (in 1982) and he took it in for a service and it came back a dog. Went straight to the rollers and found only 120hp. After two days on the rollers opened valves to book and voila 160hp. Same chap (hillclimbed and sprinted his Capri) then opened up the four port intake as far as poss (inc plenty of tigging)and power went up to 182hp. He also suggested fitting twin chokes as he reckoned it improved part throttle response. On the rollers they made no difference. He got upto 202hp. Been told that the crop of fast road cams available don't do as they say, and scarcily increase power. Mainly increase overrev. I'm going to try a kent31 cam advanced by a degree or 6 along with some 11.5:1 comp Cosworth pistons I've got. |

Nu stiu daca omul minte sau exagereaza cu ce spune, dar nu vad de ce ar face-o... e ilogic.
Referitor la axe, tipul spune ca cele mai multe din cele existente pe piata nu fac ce spun ca fac, iar cresterea in putere este... sensibila. Nu stiu daca este asa, dar tind sa-i acord credit in aceasta idee. PS: imi place fata MK I-lui, extrem de simpla si de impact :). MK III-ul ar arata mult mai bine cu niste dungi care sa "respecte" liniile capotei si daca sigla mustangului impreuna cu lampile de semnalizarea ar disparea. |
