Anul care tocmai a inceput este unul hotarator pentru constructorii auto, al caror succes sau esec poate fi dictat de modelul sedan scos pe piata.

In 2008 se preconizeaza aparitia unui numar de opt noi modele sedan.

Succesul unor producatori influenteaza si lista Celor Mai Tari 10 Sedan-uri ale lui 2008, asa cum o vad criticii de la ForbesAuto:
1. BMW M3
2. Cadillac CTS
3.Hyundai Genesis
4.Jaguar XF
5.Lexus IS-F
6.Lexus LS 600h L
7.Lincoln MKS
8.Mercedes-Benz C-Class
9.Pontiac G8
10.Saab 9-3
